“I started working on Firewall on January 20, 2017. In recent years, my artistic goals have centered around a few very simple ideas:
of central importance is my desire to create music that moves people, that makes them feel something, in deep and inchoate ways, ways that bypass conscious reasoning. The goal of Firewall is to produce an experience that seems to come from a place that has transcended language, and moved beyond exposition and explanation. This speaks to my desire to create music that is understood and felt at the deepest level, and yet remains totally unknowable.
