accordion, piano, violin, cello
“In writing Puddles, my intention was to explore how the reverberations of the separate instruments interact with each other. By listening to the material that surrounds the notes rather than the actual notes themselves, I wanted to find a way to delve into the puddles of sound that ripple around each musical moment. The piano acts as a sort of instigator, getting the other instruments to sink into its resonating pool.” – Fjóla Evans
